This F-150 goes through the same rigorous testing as all F-Series trucks to ensure it delivers Built Ford Tough performance and reliability.

The F-150 Lightning features a military-grade aluminum-alloy body and an upgraded frame, which provides extra support for the truck's battery. The 2022 model also comes equipped with an F-Series independent rear suspension that delivers a stable ride in combination with the F-150's low centre of gravity. Whether hauling a bed full of cement bags or pulling equipment behind the truck, you’ll enjoy reliable performance to get your jobs done.

The 2022 F-150 Lightning is also constructed for excellent off-road performance with a 4x4 system and four selectable drive modes, including Normal, Sport, Off-Road and Tow/Haul. Rugged underbody protection keeps the battery safe, while metal skid plates shield the inboard motors from tough terrain.

The 2022 F-150 Lightning’s advanced engineering promises to revolutionize the pickup segment. To reserve your model, contact Skaha Ford in BC for details.

The 2022 F-150 Lightning, which is coming to Skaha Ford next spring, is an excellent solution. When this all-electric truck isn’t hauling tools and materials, it can be used as the ultimate power source to keep your home powered and your family safe.

With the available 80-amp Ford Charge Station Pro and home management system, the 2022 F-150 Lightning can unload 9.6 kilowatts of power in the event of an outage. When equipped with the truck’s extended-range battery, that’s enough power to last three full days in continuous use or up to 10 days when rationed. When the outage is over, the truck automatically reverts to battery charging mode, so the Lighting is ready for your commute or available to power equipment at the job site.

In the future, Ford is planning to unveil Intelligent Power, which can use the F-150 Lightning to power homes during high-cost, peak-energy hours while taking advantage of low-cost overnight charging rates. This will not only help BC homeowners save on electricity costs, but it will alleviate pressure on the grid during high peak usage times.

Equipped with a standard 4x4 drivetrain and dual inboard motors, the 2022 F-150 Lightning will throw down 775 lb-ft of instant torque. When paired with the 563-hp extended-range battery, this all-electric truck can cover zero to 100 km/h in about four seconds, making it the fastest accelerating F-150 yet. Its 480-km range is impressive, too, when equipped with an extended-range battery.

If you need a skilled hauler to pull your tools and carry equipment, the 2022 F-150 Lightning is up to the task. With the standard-range battery, this all-electric truck can tow 3,493 kg and has a maximum payload capacity of 816 kg. All 2022 models also include 2.4 kilowatts of power through four outlets (two in the cabin and two in the bed) to keep your team productive on the job site.
