2022 Ford Explorer Timberline Brings Class IV Trailer Tow Package to BC

The 2022 Ford Explorer Timberline is a full-size SUV with room for six to seven people depending on the cabin configuration. First is the Class IV Trailer Tow Package. This adds the frame-mounted Class IV receiver hitch to the back of the vehicle. Here, you can hook up an attachment such as a trailer or RV with ease. Wired connections are also provided to ensure that electricity can travel to the attachment’s lighting and braking systems. Plus, an engine oil cooler has been installed to prevent overheating from the added weight. This suite gives the Explorer the ability to haul up to 2,540 kg (5,600 lbs).

Rolling on 18-inch aluminum wheels with a high-gloss black finish and laser-etched Timberline logos, this version of the Explorer also comes with a Terrain Management System. Combined with the Intelligent 4WD mechanism, you may choose between seven selectable drive modes. These include Normal, Deep Snow/Sand, Trail, Slippery, Tow/Haul, Eco, and Sport. You can choose using the dial locate don the centre console.
