For nearly two decades—17 years, to be exact—the Mustang Mach 1 was absent from Canadian dealerships, but that changes this upcoming spring. And unlike the Mach-E, electric power isn’t its speciality; instead, pure, conventional gasoline power and top speeds are its focus.Â

The 2021 Mustang Mach 1 is anything but short on performance. It is outfitted with a sensational 5.0-liter V8 engine that creates 480 HP at 7,000 rpm and 420 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,600 rpm. It’s absurdly fast—we’re talking track speed here. And unsurprisingly, it comes with a six-speed manual with rev-matching as standard, giving enthusiasts the thrills they demand.
