Once a well-kept secret for iconic hot rods, the Hydraulic Assist Brake Boost System is now employed in every 2021 Dodge Challenger model. Designed to improve the overall performance of the vehicle, this system works much better than conventional vacuum boosters.
Â
Here’s how it operates.
Â
When you turn the steering wheel, fluid pressure begins to build inside the pump. This is mainly due to the circular movement that is taking place during this particular action. At this point, the hydraulic pressure is stored in the accumulator and is then used when you step on the brake pedal. Transferring the pressure to the master cylinder, the Challenger will then come to a complete halt very quickly.
Â
The result is 907 to 1,224 kgs of braking pressure compared to the traditional 362 to 408 kgs. Durability is also a benefit since you no longer have to rely on a hose. This means that there is a lot less required maintenance for this type of feature. It also results in you spending less time at the mechanic and more time on the track.

As the third trim level in the latest lineup, the new 2021 Dodge Challenger R/T rides on larger 20-inch aluminum wheels with a Satin Carbon finish. Complete with a functional hood scoop that allows more air to flow into the engine bay, this model will leave the competition far behind. It's a seamless blend of style and sporty power.Â
Â
Additional practical exterior elements include a rear spoiler with an integrated backup camera. This enhances the vehicle’s overall aerodynamics, and it also enables you to see any potential obstacle behind you before you reverse out of a parking spot.
Â
Fog and automatic halogen head lamps provide better visibility in the new Challenger R/T, and LEDÂ bulbs are used for the tail and halo accents lights. If you look at the rear, you will notice the silver dual exhaust tips - which is what produces the robust roar every time you accelerate. This platform proves a perfect option for the daily grind and laps at the track.Â

Featuring automatic halogen headlights with halo LED accent bulbs, the new 2021 Dodge Challenger SXT offers enhanced visibility everywhere you go. Not only will you be able to see clearly at night, but you will also be seen by other drivers on the streets of BC - ensuring a safer (and more confident) experience.
Craving more than security, however? The new SXT will provide it, pairing its practical features with ample upgrades.Â
Â
Although the SXT is the base trim, it exudes style and athleticism. Offered in 13 eye-catching shades (such as Granite Crystal Metallic and Indigo Blue), the fascia, door handles, and rear spoiler are all done in the same colour as the body of the vehicle. Even the heated power-adjustable side mirrors stay in this theme. This creates a seamless profile.
Â
The 2021 SXT's 18-inch Carbon aluminum wheels and chrome grille each come in a Satin finish, and all-season performance tires ensure optimized output all year long. Finally, the dual exhaust tips and fuel filler opening are both done in Silver for a contrasting look.

Housing Canada’s top-selling engine, the new 2021 Dodge Challenger SXT displays a head-turning performance - ensuring that BC drivers can achieve the track thrills they crave (even during their daily commutes).
Â
Fitted with the 3.6-litre V6 motor made by Pentastar, this base model generates an impressive 305 hp and 268 lb-ft of torque. Most versions of the Challenger come standard with RWD and an 8-speed automatic transmission from TorqueFlite. However, you can opt for AWD on the 2021 STX if you prefer more traction control over the front and back axles.
Â
This particular trim can be put into Sport Mode for better output on a course. Paired with a performance-tuned suspension, stabilizer bar, and a heavy-duty cooling unit, the new SXT lets you take on corners with ease (and spares you the worry of overheating). Riding on 18-inch aluminum wheels with all-season tires that are designed for the track, it ensures that you will leave other cars in your dust when you step on the accelerator.
