National Youth Track & Field Championships

For the week of August 7 thru 13, 2013 the best of Canada’s young athletes came, lived, competed, enjoyed and hoped at the country's largest track and field event. Each one came from a different part of our country, often accompanied by proud family members yet all with a common goal - perhaps they would be the one to win their events and go on to represent Canada in the Olympics.

For many of these young athletes this is where dreams are made.  Where hopes become reality.  Where futures are forged and memories sown.

The Royal Canadian Legion has been sponsoring these championships for over a century. This year's took place at the McLeod Athletic Park, Langley British Columbia 7-13 August 2013.
