McLeod Athletic Park
McLeod Athletic Park in the Township of Langley is truly a multi-sport facility with the ability to host several different sporting events.
The stadium and track are among the best in BC and were utilized in 2010 for the BC Summer Games. The stadium has the ability to hold 2,200 spectators while they watch athletes compete in all areas of track and field. There is an eight-lane rubberized track, javelin, high jump, long jump, discus, shot put and pole vault.
The four-diamond softball complex has hosted national softball tournaments at various levels. There are also three non-regulation size fields for larger recreational
tournaments and the newest addition to the park is the lit baseball diamond with announcer's booth.
There are also six natural-turf soccer fields and one lit artificial turf field for soccer or football, four tennis courts and a lacrosse box.
In addition to these sporting facilities there are public washrooms, a children's play area and picnic areas. Combined the grandstand and Rotary House have six change rooms (four with showers), two officials rooms, two meeting rooms for up to 75 people each, two concessions (one being a full concession), one medical room, one media room with announcers booth and office space.
