Do you want to purchase an eco-friendly ride but are nervous about the driving range? Then you need to set your sights on the new 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. With the ability to travel further than any other model in its class, vehicles like the Toyota Prius Prime simply cannot compete.
Â
To start, the 2021 Toyota Prius Prime uses a 1.8-litre gasoline four-cylinder engine coupled with a plug-in hybrid system. Delivering 121 hp, it has an EV-only range of 40 km (25 miles). Manufactured in three trim levels - the LE, XLE, and Limited - there aren’t many options with this lineup.
Â
On the other hand, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is moved by a much larger 3.6-litre V6 Hybrid motor from Pentastar. Paired with a 16-kWh lithium-ion battery, it generates a staggering 260 hp. That is practically unheard of for this type of minivan. Thanks to the eFlite Electrically Variable Transmission (EVT), the experience from inside the cabin is very smooth, and it can drive on electricity alone for 51 km (32 miles). Perfect for road trips and family vacations, you can go just about anywhere in this transport!

If you are in the market for an SUV that offers the highest EV driving range, then you need to turn your attention to the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid lineup. Compared to the 2021 Lincoln Aviator Hybrid, if will keep you going for quite a bit longer on the roads of SK.
Â
The Pacifica Hybrid is powered by a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 Hybrid engine. Mated with an eFlite Electrically Variable Transmission (EVT) and FWD, it comes with a 16-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. With an electric-only range of 51 km (32 miles) it also boasts a high fuel economy rated at 2.7 L/100 km (105 MPGe) in the city and 3.1 L/100 km (91 MPGe) on the highway.
Â
On the other hand, the Lincoln Aviator Hybrid uses a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 Hybrid motor, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and RWD. Using only electricity, it can travel for a mere 33 km (21 miles). Meanwhile, the combined 56 MPGe translates to about 4.2 L/100 km. Not only does the Aviator Hybrid have a shorter driving range, but the fuel efficiency is also not up to par.
