It’s the most wonderful time of the year in the automotive industry – the North American Car and Truck of the Year (NACTOY) Awards are gearing up! And this year, we couldn't be more excited as three Nissan models were named as semi-finalists.
For the second year in a row, Nissan has driven off with more best-in-category wins than any other brand in the AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA). Held annually, these honors are based on nation-wide survey results from over 58,000 owners of new 2017 and 2018 cars and light trucks. This year, the Murano, Maxima and Titan were all repeat winners, with the Leaf and 370Z joining them on the podium for the first time.
Nissan has added another accolade to its growing list of honors. The automaker recently won an Excellence in Climate Solutions Award for its ground-breaking work to develop electric vehicle technology and energy services systems. The distinction is part of the FT/IFC Transformational Business Awards, which is given by the Financial Times and the International Finance Corporation.
