Latest Nissan News For Seattle, Tacoma, And Bellevue Washington
buy a new nissan altima near seattle washingtonThe Altima has gone down in history as one of the best-selling family sedans in its class. With the year 2018 finally upon us, this vehicle has yet another 365 days to defend its title. And defend it shall! Don’t believe us? One look at the intuitive infotainment system and it’ll become clear pretty fast why this car is always going for gold— and getting it.

With Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, your music travels with you anywhere. Oh, and your audiobooks, podcasts, and apps too. What’s more, the vehicle information display behind the steering wheel provides drivers with a wealth of data, including turn-by-turn navigation and tire pressure tracking. Seamlessly integrated, this dual screen system allows you to monitor your car and your driving, and have a blast doing it.

Throw in available NissanConnect services powered by SiriusXM, and you’ve got yourself a veritable chariot of the gods. Keep you and your family out of harm’s way with the collision notification technology and emergency call features. And with stolen vehicle locator and boundary alerts, this system also ensures that your Altima remains, well… Your Altima.

Contact Kirkland Nissan today to climb inside the 2018 Altima and take a look for yourself.

2018 altima for sale in seattle waIf you are in search of an all-new sedan with a focus on passenger safety, you'll want to check out the 2018 Nissan Altima. It was recently named an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) 2018 Top Safety Pick, earning “Good” crashworthiness scores across the board and a “Superior” score in front crash prevention, which are the highest ranking by the safety authority.

And new for this year, it’s harder for vehicles to pass the crash tests since the IIHS updated their standards. Now a vehicle must score “Good” ratings in the driver-side small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength, and head restraint tests. It must also receive a good rating in headlight tests, score advanced or superior ratings for front crash prevention, and also score either acceptable or good ratings in the passenger-side small overlap front test.

Despite the tougher standards, they were no match for the 2018 Nissan Altima. This mid-size sedan features many top-notch safety features that add to its rigidity and security on the roads, including:

• Standard Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)
• Standard Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (I-FCW)
• Available radar-based Blind Spot Warning (BSW)
• Available Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC)
• Available Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)

It's one of the safest vehicles on the roads. Don't you think it's time you give it a closer look?

Adventure waits - with the roads beyond Seattle promising horizons to discover and miles to conquer. With every day comes a new experience… and an equally new fear. You find yourself sitting in the garage, hesitant to turn an ignition key. These highways aren’t safe, you think. They’re populated with rogue drivers and uncertain weather patterns. It’s best to stay inside.

Nissan doesn't agree - which is why it fused its 2017 Altima with award-winning capabilities. This sedan will allow Seattle families to explore the city and beyond, offering them the safety they crave.

Recently the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (an independent organization that establishes benchmarks for collision prevention) pitted the Altima against its rigorous obstacle course - forcing it to endure brutal front, side, and rear crashes. It tested deceleration responses on slick tracks; it pushed avoidance technologies to the limit; and it demanded much from airbag and restraint systems. There was no mercy given to the platform… or the unfortunate test-dummies seated within.

Much to the delight of Seattle drivers, however, the 2017 Altima proved road-ready. The IIHS awarded this sedan its highest honor, naming it a Top Safety Pick.

We’re not surprised. Nissan has anchored the Altima with a suite of collision features. Electronic stability and traction control minimizes the risk of under-steerage, providing smoother decelerations and cornering. Rollover sensors automatically engage the comprehensive airbag suite (which includes seat-mounted, curtain, and side-impact inflatables) as needed; while daytime running lights enhance visibility. This all pairs with anti-lock disc brakes to ensure superior performance.

The 2017 Altima is a worthy option for every Seattle adventure. To learn more about this platform contact us today.
