I live in Ontario and wanted to purchase a Ford transit. There were many challenges in figuring out how we would get the vehicle to the East coast. Jag helped me patiently throughout the whole process. Any time I needed something I was able to text him and he responded as soon as he was able. It was a pleasure dealing with Jag and Key West Ford! Thank you all!

These guys don’t communicate with each other.

These guys don’t communicate with each other. We wasted hours at the dealership test driving and getting a contract worked out and at the last minute we were told, “ oh this truck was sold 2 days ago”. We had taken a ferry into the city specifically to purchase this truck. How hard is it for the sales guys to put a sold sign on a vehicle? You would think they would have a bulletin board with inventory sales listed. Unacceptable!

We had an exceptional experience at Key West Ford. Their entire team was kind, helpful and responsive when dealing with us (and our kiddies). Ian Riddell, Sales manager helped us find a Sales Representative who was extremely knowledgeable in the vehicle we were pursuing. Jag Dhillon helped us navigate through all the questions we had, was patient and helpful. Our kids were entertained (with popcorn), we were give all the information needed. Michelle Kellough, was extremely helpful navigating through our warranty options, we were presently surprised with what she found for us. Thank you, this was a big purchase and a big day for us and we really appreciated all you did for us.

Nissan News
Latest Nissan News For Seattle, Tacoma, And Bellevue Washington
Japan's street racing scene is one of the most illustrious in the world. And now, a police team in Tochigi Prefecture is taking a unique step forward by adding a Nissan GT-R to their fleet. Donated by a local man, the police are now using the legendary street racer to fight crime at high speeds.

To be distinguished as a cop car, the GT-R is equipped with red flashing lights on the roof of the fast-moving vehicle and LED strobes on the bumper. It also sports the police unit’s black and white paint to match the rest of the patrol fleet. With a cruiser that can go from 0-60 miles per hour in just 2.7 seconds, criminals all over Tochigi Prefecture better be on high alert. With 565 horses under the hood, they won’t have much hope of escaping this cruiser.

Funnily enough, there is also a hometown connection here. According to The Drive, the factory where the GT-R has been built since 2007 is located in Tochigi Prefecture. Talk about a natural fit!

Could you imagine looking into your rearview mirror and seeing a GT-R with flashing lights barrelling your way? It certainly would be one exhilarating ride back to the police station.

nissan gt-r for sale in seattle washingtonIn an exclusive interview with Autocar at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Nissan’s design head Alfonso Albaisa was quoted as saying that the next-generation Nissan GT-R could become the “fastest super-sports car in the world.” Quite the bold statement, but for those who follow Nissan closely, you know that the sky is the limit for the innovative automaker.

The GT-R is currently in the very early stages of design and engineering – the supercar’s powertrain and all-new platform have yet to be finalized. Speculators have been questioning whether the GT-R will be electrified. In the interview, Albaisa he admitted that electrification was possible, but not confirmed.

“We are definitely making a new platform and our goal is clear: the GT-R has to be the quickest car of its kind,” he told the publication. “It has to own the track. And it has to play the advanced technology game; but, that doesn’t mean it has to be electric.”

As for its styling, Albaisa said the next-gen GT-R would be imposing, have presence and be a beast. He even went so far as to call the supercar “the world’s fastest brick” with “less wing” and more heft to it.

Based on Albaisa’s comments in the article, it appears that the production car is still several years away with some industry insiders commenting that we may not see the new GT-R debut until the next decade. Good things come to those who wait!

This year, Nissan will be blowing out 50 candles as the GT-R turns a half-century old. And to mark the occasion, they have teamed up with Italdesign, a styling firmed founded by the legendary Giorgetto Giugiaro (which is also celebrating 50 years) to collaborate on a one-off Nismo-based sports car, dubbed the GTR-50.

The radically styled machine was created in-house by Nissan European and North American design teams, while Italdesign oversaw the development, engineering and production.

The GTR-50 is distinctive and crisp, boasting gold-colored highlights, a lowered roof, and an aggressive hood bulge. There are also unique headlight and taillight treatments, as well as a large adjustable wing.

Under the hood is a 3.8-liter V6 VR38DETT engine, which produces an estimated 720ps and 780 Nm of torque. Nissan also tuned the power plant to include two GT3-spec turbochargers, refreshed internals and cams, and higher-flow intake and exhausts, amongst many other tweaks.

The suspension was revised too, featuring a BILSTEIN DampTronic I continuously adjustable damping system, while the braking system incorporates Brembo six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes with bright red calipers. Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, sized 255/35 R21 in the front and 285/30 R21 in the rear, add a level of grip needed to harness the engine's forces.

To say it’s a powerhouse is an understatement!

There aren’t any plans to put the GT-R50 into production as of right now. In the meantime, you can experience the thrills and chills of Seattle’s roads in a stock 2018 GT-R. To schedule a test drive, contact our team at Kirkland Nissan.
