Nissan suggests utilizing its Around View system - as provided in the 2018 Rogue Sport.

As St. Louis Today explains, the new Rogue Sport delivers more than all-terrain value. Instead its Around View monitor enables drivers to navigate suburban streets and city lanes with equal ease - delivering 360-degrees of protection. Activate the console by shifting into reverse. Immediately the four body-mounted cameras will engage, yielding a birdâ€™s-eye perspective of the surrounding environment; while the eight-inch touchscreen will stream high-definition video. Gridlines will then appear, each boasting a unique color to warn operators of potential concerns:

Dual Green Lines - an approaching object in approximately 10 feet from the car.
Single Green Line - an approaching object is approximately 7 feet from the car.
Single Yellow Line - an approaching object is approximately 3 feet from the car.
Single Red Line - an approaching object is approximately 1.5 feet from the car.

These intuitive route markers allow drivers to effectively gauge distance, while integrated Moving Object Detection software further bolsters the reversal process - releasing audio and visual warnings if an obstacle is found via radar scan. This suite of class-leading technologies ensures a seamless downtown experience.
