Latest Nissan News For Seattle, Tacoma, And Bellevue Washington
This week at Auto China 2018, Nissan launched the first electric vehicle built in China for Asian consumers and it has the whole world talking about the potential of a later global launch. The vehicle is called the Sylphy Zero Emission and it is based on the ever-popular and best-seller Nissan Leaf.

Boasting an all-electric powertrain, advanced technologies and a spacious cabin designed for convenience and comfort, the Sylphy features an extended drive range of 210 miles. It will also incorporate a full-size wheelbase, offering greater stability and interior legroom, as well as multi-layer ergonomic seating with heating options. A connectivity feature will allow the vehicle's audio and video to be remote-controlled from a mobile phone as well. From the sounds of it, the Sylphy is as cutting-edge as you can get.

As the first mass-production EV for the China market, Nissan also claims that it is one of 20 electrified models to be introduced over the next five years. The Sylphy Zero Emission will go on sale later in 2018 and more information about the specs and pricing will be available at that time.

Will we be lucky enough to test drive the Sylphy on North American soil? News of a global release has not been mentioned, but our team at Kirkland Nissan in Seattle is hopeful. To learn more about our current line-up of available EVs, contact our dealership today.
