2019 nissan murano for sale in renton seattle tacoma kirkland washingtonIt has been a big week for Nissan at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show! One of the highlights thus far has been the official release of the 2019 Murano. The automaker pulled the cover off its latest design of the crossover SUV, revealing refreshed exterior and interior details that are garnering a lot of support from Nissan fans.

Starting with the front end, the 2019 Murano now boasts a new, more pronounced V-motion grille, bringing the crossover SUV in-line with the brand’s latest design language. It is complemented by the addition of redesigned LED headlights and taillights, as well as new LED foglights. All this rides on enhanced 18-inch and 20-inch sparkling aluminum-alloy wheels, which look wonderfully sleek next to the three newly available exterior colors: Mocha Almond Pearl, Deep Blue Pearl, and Sunset Drift Chromaflair.

Inside the cabin, the Murano commands attention and dishes up comfort from the semi-aniline leather-appointed seats with diamond-quilted inserts and contrasting micro-piping trim. Three new interior trim finishers also add to the vehicle’s aesthetic.

The Murano’s safety inclusions have been further bolstered as well with the addition of standard Rear Door Alert and available Traffic Sign Recognition and Intelligent Lane Intervention. Also available is Nissan Safety Shield 360, which is a suite of six advanced active safety and driver-assist technologies designed to help provide 360 degrees of active driver assistance, crash avoidance and pedestrian detection. They include Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Rear Automatic Braking.

2018 nissan murano for sale in seattle washingtonAccording to a press release, the Nissan Group ended the summer off with a bang selling 112,376 units in August 2018, which is an increase of 4 percent compared to the same time last year. This gain was largely due to the Nissan Murano, which set a summer sales record, selling 9,619 units. Compared to last August’s 4,895 units, that’s an increase of almost 97 percent!

This isn’t the first time that the Murano has taken the charts by storm. In July, the crossover experienced an uptick, even though Nissan as a whole saw a 15 percent decrease in overall sales when compared to the same time last year.

So what’s all the fuss about, you ask? Why are crossover shoppers congregating to the Murano? It’s the vehicle’s enhanced feature set.

For 2018, Nissan augmented the Murano by offering even more standard and available equipment, which are first-class in nature and wildly purposeful. This includes the tech options on the vehicle, which now include a new Premium Package that boasts a wide range of driver-assist and convenience features. With this add-on, motorists can benefit from an Intelligent Around View Monitor and Intelligent Cruise Control, as well as an Intelligent Driver Alertness feature. There is also a Power Panoramic Moonroof, Bose premium audio system with 11 speakers, and heated front seats and outside mirrors to sweeten the pot.

The 2018 Murano delivers drivers even more value than previous models. To learn more about this premium platform, including pricing and specs, contact our team at Kirkland Nissan in Seattle for a test drive.
