Latest Nissan News For Seattle, Tacoma, And Bellevue Washington
new nissan rogue for sale in seattle tacoma kirkland washingtonIt was a solid year for the Nissan Rogue in 2018. According to a recent report from the automaker, the crossover was the brand’s top-selling model for the third year in a row with 412,110 sales. That’s an overall increase of two percent, making it the Rogue’s best calendar year ever. What a milestone!

In other Nissan news, the Rogue wasn’t the only vehicle with success on the sales charts. Overall, the automaker’s trucks, SUVs and crossovers set an all-time record in 2018 with 784,807 in total sales, which is a three percent uptick compared to 2017. Sales of the Leaf all-electric vehicle also spiked a wild 31 percent since the prior year, with other models, such as the Frontier and Murano, showing strong gains – seven percent and nine percent, respectively.

As we make our way into the New Year, there is so much that we have to look forward to, including the launch of the refreshed Murano and Maxima, along with the segment-shaking 2019 Altima. We expect all three platforms to do well on the sales charts this year, along with our truck offerings, including the Nissan Titan.

2019 nissan rogue for sale in seattle washingtonSeattle, the future is looking bright for the 2019 Rogue! As Nissan's top-selling nameplate in both 2017 and 2018, the crossover SUV is once again aiming to achieve chart-topping success for the coming year. And it won’t have to exert itself – the Rogue is already rolling in the accolades! Just last week, Motor Illustrated named the vehicle on its Top 15 SUVs for 2019 list, hailing the Rogue for its new safety and driver assist inclusions.

For 2019, the Rogue adds expanded ProPILOT Assist availability to its line-up, which is now standard on the top-of-the-line SL grade and optionally available on the SV. This system is intended to ease driver workload by reducing the amount of acceleration, steering and braking input required under certain conditions. It is also designed to be more intuitive and user-friendly compared to other driver-assist technologies while helping to lessen fatigue behind the wheel and create a more confident driving experience.

Standard on all 2019 Rogue models, as well, is Nissan’s new Rear Door Alert, which reminds drivers of important belongings and passengers that may be forgotten in the rear seat by using a series of distinctive honks. This feature was originally developed by a pair of Nissan engineers and mothers and is being credited as a great tool in preventing heat-related accidents with children and pets.

Both ProPILOT Assist and Rear Door Alert complement the Rogue’s Safety Shield technologies, which are standard across trims. They include Lane Departure Warning and Intelligent Lane Intervention, along with Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection and radar-based Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Rear Automatic Braking is also standard on SV and SL grades.

For its safety and driver assist features alone, it’s no wonder why the 2019 Rogue is so popular with consumer and automotive journalists alike! 2019 nissan rogue for sale in seattle tacoma kirkland washingtonWhen it comes to the Nissan Rogue, there is no doubt that this crossover is a favorite with drivers across North America. Not only is it one of the brand’s best-selling vehicles, but it also has an awards case filled with accolades from top automotive authorities. Just this week, the 2019 Rogue added a new honor to its list of praises – Consumer Guide bestowed its Best Buy Award to the vehicle in the Compact Crossover/SUV Class.

According to Consumer Guide, the Rogue is a prime pick for shoppers because it offers respectable fuel economy, refined interior materials, and passenger and cargo versatility that few compact SUVs can match. Depending on the powerplant you choose, the Rogue delivers an estimated EPA rating between 25-33 mpg, which is sure to save you at the pumps. With room for five passengers, this vehicle is well-suited for families, plus the cargo space is wonderfully cavernous with up to 70 cubic feet of haulage (with all seats folded).

For 2019, the Rogue is being offered in three well-equipped grade levels (S, SV and SL) – all of which boast a long list of comfort and convenience features to make life on the road that much more pleasurable. Details such as 77-degree wide opening rear doors make loading and unloading small children very easy, while the available Motion-Activated Liftgate (standard on SV and SL trims) takes the tedium out of grocery store visits or family road trips.
