One of the most common yet easy to avoid accidents that a lot of people get into is a fender bender. These generally occur in parking lots, and they usually result in small but costly damage. Luckily, the new 2021 Chrysler 300 is equipped with safety systems to help prevent this type of incident.
Â
First is ParkView. This handy backup camera sends a live video feed straight to the Uconnect touchscreen interface. From here, you can monitor what’s going on behind you as you move in reverse. This particular element is standard across the entire lineup of 300 models.
Â
Also available is Park-Sense Front and Rear Park Assist. Adding sensors to the face and back of the vehicle, it will alert you with audible chimes if you get too close to an obstacle. Working for parallel or perpendicular manoeuvres, you won't have to worry about bumping into anyone’s car.
Â
Finally, Rear Cross-Path Detection can also be included in the mix. This will notify you if another automobile travels behind you while you are backing out of your driveway.
