If you are looking at the latest 2021 Ram 3500 lineup, then you may have noticed something particular on the exterior. Equipped with power-adjustable convex trailer-tow side mirrors, you can clearly see where you are going even with an attachment.
Â
As the only heavy-duty pickups that offer this feature, you will have access to superior blind-spot visibility. Measuring 7 x 11-inches, these viewing points come with LED trailer spotter lights that illuminate the entire length of the truck and anything you have hooked up to the rear.
Â
Also equipped with courtesy lamps and supplemental turn signal indicators, other drivers will be aware of your lane-change plans ahead of time. They also include a heating element to prevent the build-up of ice in the winter. Available in black or chrome finishes, they also have memory settings for your convenience.

As a heavy-duty, full-size pickup, the new 2021 Ram 3500 is available with the state-of-the-art Auto-Level Rear Air Suspension system. Making it easy to hitch a trailer to the back, this class-exclusive element is something everyone needs. Here’s how it works.
Â
First, you should know that Normal Ride Height (NRH) is the standard position that the truck stays in most of the time. It is ideal for daily driving. Next, Alternate Trailer Height (ATH) is assumed when the rear section of the Ram 3500 is lowered by 25-mm (1-inch) for optimized load levelling.
Â
You can access this function on the multimedia touchscreen interface. The corresponding button will blink until the ATH is achieved. Please remember that the engine must be running in order to operate this component.
