Following the Atlantic Track and Field Championships, many PEI athletes set themselves up for success at the Legion Nationals coming up August 9-11 in Langley, BC.

  • Girls 5000m: First Place, Maddy Crowell 19:04.53; Second Place, Melanie McKenna 20:18.12.

  • Boys 16-17yrs 100m: Fifth Place, Sean Fitzpatrick 12.51s

  • Girls 14-15yrs 300m: Third Place, Lydia MacLeod 44.57s; Fifth Place Ashley Fitzpatrick 45.53s

These scores were reported by the Journal Pioneer. We are certainly expecting to see great things from our Maritime teams this weekend at the 2013 National Youth Track and Field Championships.
