Guess Who’s Coming to Langley? Malcolm Gilman brings home Gold for PEI

PEI’s Malcolm Gilman proved that he would be the one to beat after his performances at the Atlantic Track and Field Championships.

Gilman competed at the 12-13yrs level in discus, javelin, and shot put – and he took the Gold Medal in all three events!

His discus throw measured at 34.66m, his javelin throw was 39.93m, and his shot put throw landed at 12.42m.

The PEI team continued to thrive as more athletes soared to the top 5 in their respective throwing events:

  • Girls 16 and Over Discus: Fifth place, Constance Gilman 26.26m

  • Boys 16-17yrs Shot Put: First place, Jack Perry 14.33m
