almost 25 years ago, COOPER BOATING changed hands and one of the first tasks at hand was to set a schedule for the school courses ~ taking the lead on scheduling courses was a key ingredient that fuelled  growth for the last quarter century 

last night we did our second preview evening for the CREW membership and it is clear that setting a schedule for the events that are all about having FUN and less about SKILL DEVELOPMENT has a lot of appeal ~ within minutes of unveiling the necessary paperwork for the club, we had a pretty nice group of freshly minted members

WHAT IS THIS APPEAL? - no need to do all the organizing - we've got that covered - dates, where to go, lead boat, shoreside events/meals, briefings - just browse our list of events, enrol and have fun 

some events are MEMBER EXCLUSIVES - in 2013 we only offer fireworks cruises to MEMBERS - if you are looking to attend the fireworks on one of our boats, you'll need to be a MEMBER - it is a very special experience

we draw on a selection of the finest boats based in three great locations - but more than that, we have a collection of great people that want to explore the BEST COAST and play together on boats ~ because there's just nothing better than messing about on boats

the club is built on a foundation of great MEMBER rates and getting involved is EASY -  there is no need to organize groups - just come as an individual or couple and we'll build the crew lists and select appropriate boats 72 hours prior to start times ~ for multi day trips the captain will be in contact to organize meals afloat and start planning out some of those finer details of your adventure 

we'll start each of those longer trips with a briefing of what's in store - and unlike those gigantic cruise boats - that nobody lets you drive - you'll be part of the crew - part of the adventure - part of the magic
