We would like to extend a great big THANK YOU to everyone who attended
Cooper Boating's Yacht Expo Seminars this past weekend!

Not only did we have a great bunch of seminars, but we also collected an impressive amount of groceries for the         Vancouver Food Bank!

Welcome back False Creek Fuel Dock.  The arrival of False Creek Fuels marks the end of a difficult period for charters and boating in and around Vancouver.  We've been toting around fuel and working hard around the problem of no fuel dock in False Creek.  Now, we have a shiny revamped facility for fueling right back where the previous operator closed up a few years back - at the south side of the Burrard Street Bridge.  Charter clients from Granville Island will find this very convenient - charter operators can get a few extra moments of shut eye with the resulting convenience of this facility.  A warm welcome to FALSE CREEK FUELS!

Congratulations to Marla Hedman and Stephen DesRoches, our first two TOP FUN instructors - celebrated last night at our annual pre-season instructor meeting.   Marla and Stephen have been working - occasionally as a team as you will see here - to generate spectacular courses here at Cooper.  We have to admit some of their feats can only be described as 'magic' - but keep up the great work and here's hoping the magic dust washes over to the 'runners up' and our new instructors!

We also want to congratulate the batch of 'freshly minted' instructors from the January class under the guidance of David West

The November class, led by Oliver Woolcock and James Johnstone were a bit camera shy except for this burn around the bay on a Farr 40.

Wait a moment - FARR 40? - perhaps this group is well on their way to TOP FUN status?

Well, it's certainly heating up here - a bunch of people seem really excited with this torch running by the office.  Check out the video bottom left side of our web site

Not sure if it is more exciting than the America's Cup on now in Valencia - but certainly exciting for some.
