I live in Ontario and wanted to purchase a Ford transit. There were many challenges in figuring out how we would get the vehicle to the East coast. Jag helped me patiently throughout the whole process. Any time I needed something I was able to text him and he responded as soon as he was able. It was a pleasure dealing with Jag and Key West Ford! Thank you all!

These guys don’t communicate with each other.

These guys don’t communicate with each other. We wasted hours at the dealership test driving and getting a contract worked out and at the last minute we were told, “ oh this truck was sold 2 days ago”. We had taken a ferry into the city specifically to purchase this truck. How hard is it for the sales guys to put a sold sign on a vehicle? You would think they would have a bulletin board with inventory sales listed. Unacceptable!

We had an exceptional experience at Key West Ford. Their entire team was kind, helpful and responsive when dealing with us (and our kiddies). Ian Riddell, Sales manager helped us find a Sales Representative who was extremely knowledgeable in the vehicle we were pursuing. Jag Dhillon helped us navigate through all the questions we had, was patient and helpful. Our kids were entertained (with popcorn), we were give all the information needed. Michelle Kellough, was extremely helpful navigating through our warranty options, we were presently surprised with what she found for us. Thank you, this was a big purchase and a big day for us and we really appreciated all you did for us.

Nissan News
Latest Nissan News For Seattle, Tacoma, And Bellevue Washington
2019 nissan frontier dealer in renton bellevue seattle washingtonAccording to The Drive, a new Nissan Frontier is on its way. The online news outlet spoke with Fred DePerez, Vice President of Nissan North America LCV Business Group, at a Titan event in Jackson Hole and he was quoted as saying that a new Frontier is "well underway" and that consumers “won't be disappointed with it."

This is the first confirmation to surface of a new Frontier pickup. As a key component of Nissan’s strategy, the truck is a mid-size platform that acts as a gateway to the brand. While many drivers find the Frontier’s specs to be well-suited to their needs, others may opt to upgrade to a larger Titan for its best-in-class standard horsepower and 5 year/100,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.

Last year, Nissan sold 79,646 Frontiers across the United States, which certainly confirms the truck’s popularity with fans, even if the platform hasn’t seen a redesign since 2004. However, not one to rest on their laurels, this sounds like a great opportunity for Nissan to enhance its mid-size offering to further bolster sales for the Frontier, but other Nissan trucks too, like the Titan.

As more details are released, we’ll share the news right here on our blog. In the meantime, if you’d like to check out the 2019 Frontier for yourself, our team at Kirkland Nissan would be happy to arrange a test drive at our dealership in Seattle, Washington.

2019 nissan kicks for sale in tacoma bellevue renton kirkland washingtonLast year, Nissan released a beach-lovin’ concept called the Titan Surfcamp and they just followed it up with another sun-n-fun-themed vehicle called the Kicks Surf. Designed as the ultimate wave-riding companion, this concept is equipped with cool features and add-ons that make life on the water that much more gnarly.

Starting with the exterior, the Kicks Surf sports a slick blue body with yellow-green accents on the roof, lower body panels and grille, along with some ocean graphics that were inspired by waves. A set of crossbars on the roof allows surfers to easily transport their boards, while a rear deck is included to hold wetsuits and other accessories. After a day of riding waves, surfers can freshen up with the portable shower system and changing booth. The Kicks Surf also comes equipped with a waterproof wristband that doubles as a key to keep the vehicle secure.
Inside the cabin, blue stitching complements the exterior colors of the vehicle for a dynamic and sporty feel.

According to Nissan, the design of the compact crossover concept was inspired by Latin America's most famous beaches. There are no immediate plans to add the concept to brand’s line-up; however, savvy surfers could up-fit a stock model to suit to their needs for a well-equipped beach runner.

2019 nissan titan for sale in seattle kirkland tacoma renton washingtonNissan is at it again with another teaser for an upcoming vehicle unveiling. Even on the darkest day of the year – the winter solstice – the engineers at Nissan didn’t let fewer hours of daylight to stop them from testing the durability of their paints against UV damage. Located within their Farmington Hills Technical Center in Michigan, the Xenon Weather-Ometer (XWO) tool provides sunshine 24 hours a day using a 4,000-watt Xenon bulb to test 100 samples at the same time.

According to Nissan, the XWO evaluates material durability in different climate conditions using the same wavelengths as the sun. Samples rotate around the bulb to replicate the earth's orbit, but since the tool can run around the clock, it takes the engineers half the amount of time to test paint samples for durability and superiority. The XWO also allows Nissan to create the harshest of environments, ensuring that the automaker’s quality standards are second-to-none. The result for consumers is greater longevity and a better ownership experience overall.

To learn more about the XWO technology and other quality tests, contact Kirkland Nissan in Seattle, Washington, for details.
Following the release of the 2019 Altima, Nissan launched a “cool” new marketing initiative to celebrate the sedan’s available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. Set inside a 40-foot snow globe, a chilly storm raged on, complete with a dynamic physical cityscape and an accompanying multi-sensory indoor winter experience to bring the story to life.

Falling from the sky was actual snow, creating a magical scene perfect for photo ops, which were shared on social media using the hashtag #ImpossiblySmart. The virtual weather conditions also highlighted the sedan’s available I-AWD technology, which allows the Altima to adapt and redistribute power regardless of road conditions.

The 2019 Nissan Altima is available in five well-equipped trims (S, SR, SV, SL and Platinum) with a standard 2.5-liter DOHC inline four-cylinder direct injection engine for 188 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. An optional 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine with front-wheel drive is also available on Altima SR and Platinum grades. With the addition of all-wheel drive, sedan shoppers can finally benefit from the enhanced capability and handling that this new offering provides.

Today Nissan released a teaser ahead of the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show. The automaker announced that it will reveal an all-new electric concept crossover called the Nissan IMQ.

Images of the vehicle have begun to surface online and industry insiders are buzzing about its unique design, especially its oversized wheels and narrow windows. Nissan hasn’t provided details about the IMQ’s powerplant, but speculators imagine that it will be based on the same platform as the IMS concept, which debuted at the NAIAS in Detroit. The IMS runs on a 115 kWh battery with a range of up to 380 miles. A dual motor all-wheel drive system is expected to provide up to 360 kW of power and 800 Nm of torque.

Full details about the IMQ will be unveiled during a livestream press conference on March 5, 2019, at 12:15 p.m. CET on the Nissan Global YouTube channel. Be sure to tune in – our team at Kirkland Nissan will be watching from our dealership in Seattle, Washington.
2019 nissan armada for sale in seattle tacoma kirkland kent washingtonFebruary has been a huge month for Nissan as the awards and accolades continue to roll in. At the Chicago Auto Show, trophies were handed out by Kelley Blue Book for their 5-Year Cost to Own Awards and the 2019 Nissan Armada drove off with a win in the full-size SUV segment!

According to KBB, the Five-Year Cost to Own Awards honor new vehicles and brands with the lowest projected ownership costs, based on data for new cars for the first half decade of ownership. It takes into consideration depreciation, expected fuel costs, finance and insurance fees, maintenance and repair costs, and state fees for all new models within that time period.

For 2019, the second-generation SUV is sporting new equipment, making it the most advanced Armada than ever before. Rear Door Alert is now standard to protect young children and pets from being forgotten in the back seat, while Intelligent Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking and Intelligent Forward Collision Warning provides enhanced safety. Powering the SUV is a strong 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine, delivering best-in-class 390 horsepower and a max tow rating of up to 8,500 lbs.

Also exclusive to the Armada is its Intelligent Rearview Mirror, which uses a high-resolution camera mounted on the backend of the vehicle to project a clear image onto an LCD monitor built into the rearview mirror. This driver assist feature was unveiled last year and has become a fast-favorite for Seattle drivers.

Get behind the wheel of a winner this spring! To learn more about the 2019 Armada, contact Kirkland Nissan near Federal Way, Washington, for a test drive.
2019 nissan leaf eplus seattle washingtonLast month, we shared news about the forthcoming 2019 Nissan Leaf e+, which is expected to go on sale in the U.S. later this spring. This highly-anticipated model will feature a larger 62 kWh battery pack and a higher output powertrain, delivering an increased range of 226 miles.

Since its unveiling, Nissan opened up pre-sales in Europe and received more than 3,000 orders for the Leaf 3.Zero Limited Edition model, which has 5,000 units planned. According to Ken Ramirez, Nissan Europe’s Senior VP of Sales and Marketing, the first thousand pre-orders were placed in the first day and 3,000 were reached in mid-January – just days after prices were announced.

With interest so high, Nissan has had to recalibrate their total volume expectations for the year to manage customer demand and wait times. With global buzz growing for the new Leaf e+, we anticipate that models will go just as quickly here in North America, as they have in Europe.

To learn more about the 2019 Leaf e+ and its features, driver assist inclusions and hot new tech, contact our team at Kirkland Nissan in Seattle, Washington, for a preliminary spec review or to pre-book a test drive.
nissan dealership near seattle tacoma kirkland newcastle kent washingtonTennessee is the U.S.-base for the Nissan brand – it’s the home of Nissan North America’s headquarters in Nashville, plus the company has heavily invested in the state to facilitate better and more efficient manufacturing practices. This month, the automaker broke ground on another project to help enhance the company’s training and development in Decherd, Tennessee.

Located next to the Decherd Powertrain Plant, the new 21,000 sq. ft. training center will be able to accommodate up to 180 Nissan employees at a time. The building will be equipped with tools to train staff in engineering, production, maintenance and management. It is expected to be built by this fall.

Nissan’s Decherd Powertrain Plant builds more than one million engines each year, earning it the title of the highest-volume powertrain plant in the country. Since opening in 1997, more than 13 million engines have rolled off the line and have ended up in the nameplates that we know and love, including the Maxima, Altima, Pathfinder, Rogue, Titan and Frontier.

This latest project is an exciting one for the 1,700 employees at the Decherd Powertrain Plant and one that will ultimately benefit all Nissan North American drivers. To learn more about our brand’s commitment to training and continuing education, call our dealership in Seattle, Washington, to discuss.
