Seattle Z enthusiasts, listen up! Word on the street is that a replacement for the 370Z could debut in the next two years. This news comes from leaked info from Nissan senior officials, which was published in theÂ U.K.'s Autocar magazine.Â

Dubbed the 400Z, the coupe is expected to be unveiled in 2019 - the same year as the original Z's 50th anniversary. The new car is not expected to hit dealerships until 2020.

While Alfonso Albaisa, Nissan Design Chief, and Phillipe Klein, Chief Planning Officer, have advocated for a Z-car successor, the rumors from speculators confirm that the new Z has been locked-in for production and that it will be a twin of Infiniti's Q60. The car will reportedly share the same engine and platform, boasting the Q60's 399-horsepower 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6, as well as a longer wheelbase. A Nismo tuned version might also be available, offering all-wheel drive and 475 horsepower.
