As with every model in the Jeep lineup, the new Gladiator can be customized to suit your needs. There are a plethora of options, and one of the favourites for people who enjoy off-roading is the Auxiliary Switch Group.
 

This package can be added at the dealership or by you at home. If you choose to install this suite yourself, please be aware that it can take between one and two hours to complete and is considered to be advanced.
 

The Auxiliary Switch Group is created to work in unison with the Uconnect infotainment system. It allows you to program the switch bank for up to four exterior or interior accessories. It can even keep a piece of equipment running while the truck’s ignition is turned off to prevent the battery from going dead.
 

The kit includes 4 switches, a power distribution centre, a wiring harness, brackets, a splice grouping, tie straps, a switch bank, and trim. For Sport and Sahara models, an extra cubby bin is also provided. Once established, it is covered by a 12-month warranty from Mopar.

Thanks to the 4:1 low-gear ratio, this enhancement allows you to rock crawl at significantly lower speeds while maintaining the appropriate amount of torque at the wheels that need it the most. Providing the ultimate control of the distribution of traction, it is no wonder why Four Wheeler magazine named it the “4x4 of the Decade”.
 

Other components help this feature out quite a bit too. The Fox performance shocks with the revised suspension assist with absorbing the impact of jagged terrain as you travel across it. These make the experience from inside the cabin much more pleasant and less jarring. Meanwhile, the Dana wide axles (M210 in the front and M220 in the rear) work tirelessly to prevent you from getting stuck.
 

Stabilizer bars are also included. The one in the front is a disconnecting mechanism that makes adventures in the wild much more enjoyable.
