There are three different available 4x4 systems on various 2021 Jeep Wrangler models. However, the Rock-Trac component is what you will get when you purchase the Rubicon trim.
Â
What makes this feature different is that it can toggle between 2WD and 4WD automatically as slippage occurs during your off-roading adventure. You can choose between full- and part-time operations depending on your daily driving needs.

Conquering the outdoors has never been easier with the additional help of the Tru-Lok Electronic Locking Front and Rear Differentials. Mated with Electronic Front Sway Bar Disconnect, it provides you with a low gear ratio of 4:1. In other words, you can climb over just about any obstacle with ease. Thanks to the steel skid plates, you don’t even need to worry about damage to the underbelly.

With the latest 2021 lineup, every Jeep Wrangler model has been stamped with the coveted Trail Rated badge. This great honour marks the SUVs as worthy travelers through even the roughest terrain, but what does that mean?
Â
First, the Wrangler models are all designed with a higher ground clearance so that you can traverse over rocks with no problem. Skid plates have also been installed to protect the underbelly from damage. Traction and manoeuvrability are both at an all-time best, and you won’t have to worry about slipping or getting stuck.
Â
As for water fording, no other off-roading vehicle can do it like the Wrangler. Sealed electrical connections in the engine bay and moisture-resistance body openings allow you to trek through shallow rivers and streams. The high air intake also enables oxygen to flow into the motor without any droplets sneaking inside.
