Although the 2021 Ram ProMaster comes standard with 40 safety and security features, there are several available systems that you can add.

The first is Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning. This component can detect potential obstacles in the road no matter how fast the vehicle is going. If an object is in the driver’s path, visual and audible notifications will prompt him/her to take evasive action. If no input is given to avoid the impending crash, it will take control of the emergency braking system to bring the ProMaster to a halt before impact is made.

Next is Blind Spot Monitoring. Using sensors to keep track of the whereabouts of other cars, it will let you know when one is in the blind spot. A flashing light will signal the driver that it is not safe to change lanes at that moment.

Finally, Rear Cross-Path Detection is that last add-on. Working in unison with the backup camera, it will sound an alert if something moves behind the ProMaster while it is traveling in reverse. This will help prevent fender benders in crowded or tight parking spaces.

Starting with Crosswind Assist, your employees can conquer the harsh weather without fear. This particular feature comes with every ProMaster model, and it uses sensors to detect wind gusts. In response, the brakes are applied to both wheels on the side that is facing the strong airflow. This results in less deviation from the course and reduces stress on the pilot.

Next is the optional Digital Rearview Mirror. It works in conjunction with the ParkView backup camera and Park-Sense Rear Park Assist. Instead of the live video feed being displayed on the infotainment touchscreen, it is sent directly to the rearview mirror.
