I live in Ontario and wanted to purchase a Ford transit. There were many challenges in figuring out how we would get the vehicle to the East coast. Jag helped me patiently throughout the whole process. Any time I needed something I was able to text him and he responded as soon as he was able. It was a pleasure dealing with Jag and Key West Ford! Thank you all!

These guys don’t communicate with each other. We wasted hours at the dealership test driving and getting a contract worked out and at the last minute we were told, “ oh this truck was sold 2 days ago”. We had taken a ferry into the city specifically to purchase this truck. How hard is it for the sales guys to put a sold sign on a vehicle? You would think they would have a bulletin board with inventory sales listed. Unacceptable!

We had an exceptional experience at Key West Ford. Their entire team was kind, helpful and responsive when dealing with us (and our kiddies). Ian Riddell, Sales manager helped us find a Sales Representative who was extremely knowledgeable in the vehicle we were pursuing. Jag Dhillon helped us navigate through all the questions we had, was patient and helpful. Our kids were entertained (with popcorn), we were give all the information needed. Michelle Kellough, was extremely helpful navigating through our warranty options, we were presently surprised with what she found for us. Thank you, this was a big purchase and a big day for us and we really appreciated all you did for us.

It’s a banner month for Nissan!

Recently, the Automotive Science Group (ASG), a data-driven research group established by Eco-innovations, LLC, recognized four of Nissan’s automobiles as part of the annual 11-category evaluation of cars they conduct in order to determine those with the finest all-around performance and greatest economic contribution.

Here’s how it all breaks down: The 2019 Kicks won the "Best Economic Performance" award in the compact crossover segment as a result of its dedication to low annual operating costs; similarly, the 2019 Rogue was recognized with this honor in the mid-size SUV segment, managing to best 184 other machines in the process. Also, the 2019 Versa earned the "Best 5 All-Around Performance” honor in the small car competition, while the 2019 LEAF graced the same award in the mid-large size group. Finally, the Rogue and Kicks also earned this distinction in the SUV and crossover segments, respectively, as a result of combined economic, environmental, and social performance ratings.

Big news out of the Big Apple this week! The CONVERGE event in New York City on July 12 is being presented by Nissan and Outpost, and will feature art installments, a private concert and, most importantly, profound discussion on the future of technology.

The CONVERGE event will feature industry leaders participating in workshops and keynotes that place a focus on progressive technology and, particularly, electrification in the automobile space. Notably, the event site is close to the ABB FIA Formula E Championship race in Brooklyn, where the Nissan-sponsored e.dams racing team will compete to showcase the future of racing power in a doubleheader season finale.

"CONVERGE and Formula E racing allows Nissan the opportunity to highlight our leadership in the EV space and our commitment to moving people to a better world through innovative technology and Nissan Intelligent Mobility," said Allyson Witherspoon, vice president of marketing and communications, Nissan North America. As far as current technology, Nissan’s LEAF is now the first electric car ever to surpass 400,000 unit sales, making it arguably the best-selling EV of all time.

Excellent news today, Kirkland and Seattle residents! Nissan has four vehicles that have been recognized in an annual economic study: the LEAF, Versa, Rogue, and Kicks.

Each of Nissan’s machines earned honors via the Automotive Science Group (ASG), a data-driven research group founded by Eco-innovations, LLC. The group performs an 11-category evaluation annually of various vehicles in order to determine economic and all-around performance. The 2019 Kicks won the "Best Economic Performance" award in the compact crossover segment thanks to the lowest operating costs in comparison to the other automobiles considered.

The 2019 Rogue also won this award in the mid-size SUV segment, beating out 184 other cars. The 2019 LEAF was a "Best 5 All-Around Performance” winner in the mid-large size car group, while the 2019 Versa earned that distinction in the small car segment. Kirkland and Seattle residents, you’ve likely heard wonderful things about Nissan’s all-electric vehicle (EV), the LEAF. It provides today’s drivers with the technology of tomorrow, after all. However, did you realize that it also now has a claim to the lofty title of “best-selling electric vehicle of all time?”

It’s true—the machine hit the 400,000 sale unit mark in March. And if you didn’t realize the above fact, Nissan is proudly making it known via their new “Freedom to Move” campaign that launched this past week. It features world-record-holding professional wingsuit flyer and base jumper, Roberta Mancino, enjoying a glide through the air—in fact, Mancino has more than 10,000 skydives to her name. Additionally, she is seen enjoying the new LEAF Plus, which provides owners with a 226-mile range on just one charge.

"In the past, a lot of electric vehicle advertising focused on the technology alone and neglected to tell the unique story of how driving an electric car makes you feel," said Allyson Witherspoon, vice president, Marketing Communications and Media, Nissan North America. "We have found that people who experience EV driving really love the quick acceleration, the quiet cabin and all the intelligent technology that make driving less stressful. It really is a joy to drive an EV and few do it better than our best-selling LEAF.”

buy a Nissan Frontier in KirklandKirkland, let’s talk about “overlanding.”

“Overlanding” is outdoor adventuring experienced by individuals willing to endure harsh conditions and traverse extreme terrains. Typically, all such attempts at previous
overlanding were accomplished with super expensive, modified trucks and SUVs—however, Nissan felt they could do better. They got to work, and the result of their efforts has led to the “Destination Frontier,” a one-off truck design that was created for only $40,000.

The designers at Nissan started with a 2019 Frontier Crew Cab SV 4x4 Midnight Edition as a base and then modified accordingly. Changes include the addition of Nitto Trail Grappler off-road tires, American Racing AX201 wheels, a 3-inch Nisstec lift kit, and body/drivetrain protection, among other tweaks.

A little information on that standard 2019 Nissan Frontier that the Destination is based upon (and that can actually be experienced at dealerships nationwide): It comes with a 4.0-liter DOHC V6 engine that pushes out 261 horses and 281 lb-ft of torque. It can also tow up to 6,720 pounds.

As it turns out, the sedan segment is hotter than ever before.

Recent survey results suggest that four-door cars are as beloved as ever, particularly among American millennials. The latest figures, as commissioned by Nissan, suggest that 78% of those individuals in the aforementioned age range that
do not own a sedan would consider buying one.

The time couldn’t be better for such a purchase. The sixth-generation Altima is now available, supplying powerful ProPILOT Assist technology. It now offers lower and wider proportions than previously seen, creating a more athletic stance. Also, Nissan’s latest sedan effort—the brand-new Versa—offers a fresh design that looks amazing and pushes the sub-compact segment forward.

"We see great opportunity in the sedan segment, which is why we're continuing to launch all-new and refreshed products," said Rob Warren, director and chief marketing manager at Nissan North America. "Sedans are still extremely popular with our customers, so as our competitors exit the category, they're creating even more prospects for Nissan."
