Not only does the 2021 Jeep Cherokee beat the 2021 Chevy Equinox in terms of performance and standard safety systems, but it also is better equipped on the top-tier trim.
Â
While both compact SUVs ride on 18-inch wheels and include hands-free power liftgates, the Cherokee is available with a robust V6 engine and plenty of additional elements that the Equinox doesn’t have.
Â
The Cherokee Limited includes comforts such as driver seat memory settings and dual-zone climate control. It also comes with a panoramic sunroof to ventilate the cabin. Meanwhile, the Equinox Premier gets ambient lighting.
Â
As for upgraded entrainment, the Cherokee Limited gets a 9-speaker stereo while the Equinox uses a 6-speaker unit.
Â
Finally, the Cherokee comes with an auto-dimming rearview mirror and adaptive cruise control. In order to get any driving aids on the Equinox, you’ll have to add the Confidence and Convenience II package.
