Are you on the fence between purchasing a preowned Nissan Frontier or a new model? A recent study by iSeeCars.com might sway you.Â
Â
Based on their research, a 2018 Nissan Frontier mid-size pickup is one of nine vehicles in the U.S. to have the lowest additional cost over a preowned model. For as little as $3,180 more than the price of a used 2017 truck, you can enjoy a brand new 2018 Frontier and its latest features.Â
Â
Â
In fact, Nissan recently overhauled the Frontier, giving it a full refresh, which hadn’t seen significant changes since 2005. Enhancements now include the addition of a standard RearView Monitor across all trims and updated base content, such as air conditioning, cruise control, Bluetooth, 5.0-inch color display audio, and Siri Eyes Free.Â
Â
The 2018 Frontier is available in both King Cab and Crew Cab body styles and in 4x2 and 4x4 driveline configurations, along with a choice of two powerful engines: a 4.0-liter DOHC V6 rated at 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque and a 152-horsepower 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine (which is available only on the King Cab). Five well-equipped trim grades are also offered: Frontier S (with a 4-cylinder or V6 engine), SV, PRO-4X (4x4 only), Desert Runner (4x2 V6 only) and SL (Crew Cab V6 only).
