nissan 370z dealer in seattle tacoma bellevue washingtonFor this year’s Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show, Nissan returned to Las Vegas with not one, but five one-of-a-kind vehicles. We shared earlier about the Nissan Ultimate Service Titan and the Paws One Titan, but another car stole the show – the Project Clubsport 23.

Honoring the iconic 370Z, Nissan’s Project Clubsport 23 is an ongoing parts development platform built with the goal of creating a vehicle that owners can duplicate themselves using Nissan Motorsports or aftermarket parts.

Development of the car started with an older 370Z NISMO. Nissan replaced the original 350-horsepower 3.7-liter VQ37VHR engine with an all-new 3.0-liter VR30DDTT twin-turbo V6 engine, which is rated at 400 horsepower. The suspension, steering, braking and cooling systems were also revamped, while custom body panels and a burnt orange body wrap were added to the exterior. Inside, a full roll cage and diamond-pattern upholstery are a cool, but contemporary throwback to the diamond pattern vinyl used in the original 240Z. All this rides on slick NISMO-branded RAYS cast aluminum-alloy 18x10.5-inch wheels and Hankook RS4 285/35R18 high-performance tires.

Want to get your hands on the Project Clubsport 23? Sadly, it’s not available for purchase. But, Nissan Motorsports has mentioned that (depending on consumer interest) they may offer a builder's kit that consists of hard parts and electrical components to allows enthusiasts the ability to build their own customized Z car. Is this something that interests you? Contact our team at Kirkland Nissan in Seattle, Washington, to inquire further.

With high performance comes an expectation of low economy. Drivers resign themselves to the cost of the fuel, knowing they must sacrifice their dollars to feed hungry redlines. This is the way of things.

Nissan believes it’s time for a change - which is why it’s paired the 2018 370z with exceptional efficiency, ensuring that drivers no longer endure that infamous pinch at the pump.

According to the LA Times, the new 370z is more than a sport coupe. It’s instead an eco-conscious machine, emphasizing smart fuel distribution with every mile. Its base 3.7L V6 yields an impressive 18 MPGs in the city and 26 MPGs on the highway (specs that should thrill every driver).

How does it achieve such high efficiency? The LA Times explains that Nissan has bolstered the 370z’s engine suite with a series of fuel-reducing technologies. A carbon fiber driveshaft offers fluid responses, eliminating friction within the V6 and improving ignition speed. A continuously variable valve timing system controls torque performance, moderating the power-band on low-level terrains and increasing air intake (this helps to regulate resource consumption); and the six-speed manual transmission boasts SynchroRev functionality. This minimizes the effect of downshifting and promotes crisp gear responses, ensuring that less gasoline is needed. Expect economy with every mile.

The 2018 370z proves a true powerhouse at the pump. To learn more about this Nissan coupe contact our dealership today.
The road proves sharp - a serpentine twist that defies your sedan, leaving the tires spinning and the transmission stalled. You clench the wheel, trying to compensate for the sudden loss of torque; and the smell of burning rubber floods the car.

Nissan thinks you deserve a smoother highway experience - and that’s why it’s paired the new 370z with sterling maneuverability.

As the Bend Bulletin explains, Nissan embraces fluid driving dynamics with its 2018 370z. Anchored by a seven-speed automatic transmission - which pairs an efficient carbon fiber column with rev matching technology - this coupe can fly down the road. Its longitudinally mid-mounted RWD promotes balance, with the axles poised strategically to evenly distribute weight; while integrated paddle shifters provide quick gear changes, taking advantage of the low-range ratios. A three-point tower strut brace optimizes the double-wishbone suspension (lessening chassis friction and creating a more flexible ride); and the inclusion of sport-tuned shock absorbers yields smooth handling with every mile.

These elements allow the 2018 370z to gracefully conquer every curve - earning a 0 to 60 run of 5.2 seconds. Power is deftly distributed between the 3.7L V6 engine and the electronic drive-by-throttle to ensure maximum traction with each press of the pedal.

Comfort proves a rarity in the sport coupe market - with cabins marred by tight lines and outdated tech. Drivers are forced to sacrifice convenience for power, and tedium follows them on every journey.

With the release of the 2018 370Z Touring, Nissan seeks to redefine the rules of mid-size design. This coupe emphasizes driver comfort, providing a more efficient highway experience.

As Nissan explains, the 2018 Touring delivers a superior cabin. Slide inside and discover an expansive two-seat configuration, with 51.6 cu.-ft of passenger volume available. This promises ample space (38.2-inches of head room, 42.9-inches of leg room) and accommodates a suite of convenience features, including:

Seating - the leather-appointed cushions blend plush side bolsters with four-way power adjusters. Multi-level heating technologies are available to counter the Seattle cold, and class-exclusive anti-gravity designs alleviate spinal pressure (promoting a more effective back position).

Climate - automatic temperature controls yield precise temperatures, while a rear window defroster eliminates condensation (providing a clear view when reversing). Heated side-view mirrors further improve traveling, allowing drivers to combat the winter with ease.

Convenience - one-touch power windows seamlessly slide up and down, while the doors feature automatic locking mechanisms. Remote keyless entry technology allows drivers to access all features with the press of a button, with an advanced fob engaging climate controls, the HomeLink Universal Receiver, and more.

The 2018 370Z Touring embraces ease, enabling drivers to enjoy every mile. To learn more about this sport coupe contact us today.
First impressions are rarely right - but every glance at the 2018 370Z proves striking. Nissan has delivered a new kind of coupe to Seattle, finally bridging the gap between V6 performance and mid-size style.

According to a recent press release, the 2018 370Z will thrill every fashion devotee. The platform sits on 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. Dark-tinted headlamps frame the front, with their recessed bezels creating a striking shadowed effect; while black matte-finished chrome defines the door handles. The dramatic roofline is carved from lightweight sheet metal, with its C-Pillar positions revised to form a sharper curve.

Follow the lean panels of the 2018 370Z - the platform measures 168-inches long and weighs a mere 3,333 pounds - and discover a sleek rear design. Boomerang tail-lights complement the wide fenders, while a red reflector-style center emblem catches the light. An available spoiler further impresses, with its smooth lines helping to reduce friction (it counters wind resistance to ensure a drag coefficient of 0.29).

The 2018 370Z has been meticulously crafted by Nissan - with every fascia detail intended to delight. This V6 machine will prove undeniable on the Seattle streets.

It’s the season of stalled engines. Every morning you wake to the cold groans of powertrains - with your neighbors struggling to turn their ignitions, their cars refusing to deliver even a spark. The snow has left them all overwhelmed.

You, however, know no such defeat - because you’ve secured a custom 2018 Nissan 370Z Ki.

As the Robb Report explains, the 2018 370Z Ki proves the ultimate snowmobile. Beneath its hood sits a 3.7L DOHC V6 engine - capable of delivering 332 HP and 270 lb.-ft of torque. The 24-valve design generates a powerful 7,500 redline, while a twin-intake exhaust promote increased air levels. A direct-ignition system counters the cold, allowing for a smooth connection (it utilizes iridium-tipped spark plugs to lessen the effect of plummeting temperatures); and an EXEDY high-performance clutch can instantly accommodate snow and sleet, letting the six-speed manual transmission quickly engage. It blends sturdy carbon-fiber composites with an electronic drive-by-wire throttle to ensure maximum power flow.

When these technologies combine, they allow the 2018 370Z Ki to fly through the miles - undaunted by the season. This platform provides robust V6 performance with every press of the pedal.

Winter is no longer the great foe of driving.

It’s coming - that rush of snow and sleet. Old Man Winter is huffing and puffing his way toward Seattle, shaking the ground with each stomp of his feet; and soon the miles will turn slick from the season.

Nissan isn’t worried.

According to Four Wheeler, a new kind of all-terrain monster is coming to Seattle. Soon Nissan will debut its 2018 370Z Ki - a custom-tuned coupe that will defy the winter. Anchoring this platform is an advanced tract system, with the suspension lifted three inches to accommodate front-mounted skis and rear Dominator tracks. Massive skid-plates defend the undercarriage, while boomerang-shaped halogen headlamps promote premium visibility (they cut through fog and sleet with equal ease). Enhanced wheel spacers accommodate both performance tires and snow-blades; and a revised AWD allows the car to deliver maximum traction on slick roads, distributing torque as needed.

When these features combine, they let the 2018 370Z Ki glide through the miles - utilizing its unique ski-tracks to accelerate smoothly. This car delivers the precision of a snowboard, with Nissan fusing it with a sport-tuned transmission that seamlessly adapts to changing terrains; and the inclusion of a custom-mounted exhaust system promotes improved air intake, lessening the burden of the engine.

This is a snowmobile that every Seattle driver will appreciate.

It’s a more, more, more philosophy - with every car stuffed with latest technologies, the most advanced options. Simplicity proves the bane of the automotive world; and brands are forever scrambling to accommodate consumer demands.

Nissan believes, however, that an engine should impress on merit alone - which is why it’s stripped the 2018 370Z Heritage Edition to the essentials. This sedan forsakes the expected bells and whistles, instead delivering a streamlined performance that will leave drivers thrilled.

According to Kelley Blue Book, the 2018 370Z will prove quite unlike any other coupe on the Seattle market. Nissan has freed this platform of the expected upgrades (including a touchscreen infotainment system or smartphone integration software) and instead focuses on power. Beneath the hood is a rugged 3.7L V6 engine, capable of yielding 332 HP and 270 lb.-ft of torque. Hydraulic-assisted steering delivers smooth handling, while the six-speed manual transmission allows drivers to control every response. A double-wishbone suspension proves robust, utilizing aluminum multi-links to adapt to the road; and the sport-tuned shock absorbers minimize cabin vibrations to create a balanced ride.

The 2018 370Z Heritage Edition is a masterfully designed platform that embraces performance - revving from 0 to 60 in a mere 5 seconds. Drivers will find themselves moving nimbly through every traffic jam… and not sparing a thought for the missing infotainment features.
