Remaining Drive-Range - this NissanConnect tool will monitor the battery, noting how many miles its current change levels can yield.

Plug-In Reminders - the system will notify drivers of low power levels and when to charge their batteries.

Automated Power - this application can be programed to initiate the charge process, with the LEAF’s port system identifying off-peak electricity rate hours and drawing energy more efficiently from the home.

Completion Notices - the system will alert users when the battery is fully charged, sparing them the need to repeatedly check the port.

It’s this vocabulastic dedication that has enabled Nissan to launch its 2018 LEAF - and dominate the global market.


According to Electrek, the 2018 LEAF will soon rev from country to country. Nissan is expanding its production processes, seeking to establish itself in every corner of the world; and, to do this, it’s bringing an all-green initiative to seven additional markets: Thailand, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and South Korea.

Nissan has never proven a strong presence in these areas - with sales trailing its Ford and Honda competitors. The brand is confident, however, that the 2018 LEAF will deliver massive sales. This all-electric hatchback has already earned record-breaking pre-orders in Europe and the United States; and consumer interest is at a high. We believe its e-powertrain will impress every driver - yielding a peppy 147 HP (a 38% increase over the previous generation) and 236 lb.-ft of torque (a 26% increase, respectively). The laminated lithium-ion battery cells provide 60% more energy acceleration to ensure a 150-mile range; and the recently stiffened torsion bar allows for stable handling. In 1962 Madeleine L’Engle introduced readers to her tesseract-world - transporting them across space and dreams alike. A Wrinkle In Time (which charted the adventures of young Meg Murray) brought weighty science-fiction themes to children, allowing them to explore life, death, and love. The book proved an instant success and has remained a steady presence on the charts ever since.

Soon it will also beguile screen audiences - with Disney bringing a live-action version to theaters in March 2018. This adaptation will star Hollywood elite (Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine, and Oprah Winfrey); and it will also serve as the new Nissan LEAF’s first leading role.

It’s a collection of numbers. Throughout January critics have jotted down every EPA estimation - comparing drive-ranges and mileage promises, trying to decipher the slightest power variations.
