Great news, Seattle SUV shoppers – the U.S. News & World Report recently ranked the 2018 Nissan Armada on their top five list of large SUVs, confirming what we have always known here at Kirkland Nissan. Americans still love their big, burly vehicles, especially ones that deliver powerful V8 performance, like the Armada.

So, what did the U.S. News & World Report rave about Nissan’s signature large SUV? Right off the bat, they noted the Armada for its strong performance and towing capacity. It is powered by a 5.6-liter V8 engine, which outputs a serious 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, the Armada can tow up to 8,500 pounds. If you like recreational toys, that’s ample capacity to haul ATVs, dirt bikes, or even a small boat.
Â
The 2018 Armada also scored top marks for its expansive second-row seats and well-built cabin, which features capacity for seven or eight passengers, depending on whether you choose the available second-row bucket seats. Even at highway speeds, the Armada delivers a quiet cabin, which is outfitted with many high-end features, like a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, cooled front seats, Bluetooth, and a 13-speaker Bose audio system. To help you navigate busy parking lots, a standard rearview mirror displays live video footage from the rear of the vehicle.
