According to a recent article by CNET, the 2019 Nissan Versa Sedan is one of the most affordable new cars that consumers can buy. Even with an average price increase of $300 across all trim lines, the 2019 model delivers affordability to the compact car segment.
Â
Pricing for the 2019 Nissan Versa S starts at $12,360, which will fetch you a five-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive. All models are anchored by a 1.6-liter I4 gas engine that generates 109 horsepower. Standard equipment on the base S trim includes steel wheels, cloth seats, Bluetooth and a backup camera. For $2,140 more, you can opt for the available Xtronic transmission, which utilizes an auxiliary gearbox with planetary gearing for greater fuel efficiency and on-road enjoyment. This grade level also offers cruise control.
Â
The top-of-the-line Versa SV is priced at $15,990. With this model, you’ll enjoy more comfort and convenience features, such as upgraded cloth seats, an adjustable driver's seat, and power windows. There is also a rear spoiler and chrome exterior door handles for added style. But, for another $800, you can opt for the available SV Special Edition Package, which boasts alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, keyless entry and a 7-inch infotainment system with satellite radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Not bad, especially for a fully-loaded car well under $17K.
