The 2019 Frontier is holding strong to its status as America’s most affordable pickup. Nissan recently announced pricing for the forthcoming model and it will feature the same starting MSRP of $18,990 as its 2018 predecessor. However, the similarities end there as the new Frontier now boasts more standard features, including a 7.0-inch color audio display touchscreen for the S and SV trims, and a fresh exterior color called Cayenne Red Metallic.
Â
The 2019 model will also offer a Midnight Edition Package for those truck enthusiasts that want to inject more style into their Frontier. The kit is nicely-equipped with 18-inch gloss black aluminum-alloy wheels, body-color front and rear bumpers, a gloss black grille, black badging, black door handles, semi-gloss black step rails, and black outside rearview mirrors. Consumers can choose from three exterior colors – Glacier White, Magnetic Black, and Gun Metallic.
Â
The 2019 Frontier is offered in two body styles (Crew Cab and King Cab) with two driveline configurations (4×4 and 4×2) across five complete trims (S, SV, PRO-4X, Desert Runner, and SL). Powerplant options range from a 261-horsepower 4.0-liter DOHC V6 to a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine with 152 horses.Â
