Seattle GT-R fan, it’s time to rejoice! After much speculation and anticipation, Nissan has announced pricing and specs for the 2019 sports car. One of the highlights of their announcement is that the starting MSRP of $99,990 for the GT-R Pure model, which is the most affordable trim level, remains unchanged from last year.
Â
Stepping up to the Premium grade will run you $110,540, followed by the Track Edition at $128,540. The top-of-the-line NISMO series caps off the line-up at $175,540. All trim levels also require a Destination and Handling Fee of $1,695.
Â
The 2019 GT-R is powered by an advanced 3.8-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine mated to a dual-clutch sequential six-speed automatic transmission. Pure, Premium and Track Edition models boast 565 horsepower and 467 lb-ft of torque, while NISMO models are uprated to 600 horsepower and 481 lb-ft of torque. The NISMO also features unique exterior and interior treatments, along with special suspension tuning. All models also boast Nissan's electronically controlled ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system, which operates at 0/100 front-rear bias in normal conditions, but can automatically switch to up to a 50/50 split as needed. One thing is certain – this machine is not for the faint at heart.Â
