According to a recent press release from Nissan Motor Corporation, Norway is surpassing all other nations in terms of its electric vehicle share. More than 12,000 Leaf all-electric vehicles were driven in the country last year and Norwayâ€™s strong focus on sustainability and aggressive EV incentives are largely to thank for the plug-inâ€™s sales success.

Outside of Norway, the same triumph is being felt across the UK, making the Nissan Leaf the best-selling electric vehicle with more than 40,000 units sold across the continent.
