Completely re-engineered from the ground up, the 2019 Altima now wears a sleeker appearance and offers drivers a choice of outstanding powertrain options, including the addition of Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive. Automobile Magazine evaluated the sporty SR trim with a 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine and hailed the sedan for its composed handling, strong performance and attractive design. The editors were also taken by the Altimaâ€™s multi-faceted capabilities, which include the ability to produce the torque rating of a larger engine, but with the fuel economy of a four-cylinder. In their review, Automobile Magazine was impressed with the Altimaâ€™s confidence-inspiring suspension characteristics as well, which they describe as being above that of class rivals.
