The New Year is upon us and so is the highly-anticipated Tokyo Auto Salon, which is taking place on January 12-14, 2018, at the Makuhari Messe International Convention Complex in Japan.

Nissan will be in attendance where they will reveal a new variant of the popular Leaf all-electric vehicle, called the Grand Touring Concept.

Industry insiders report that the EV will feature two-tone black-and-silver paintwork and an aggressive body kit, but other details have yet to be disclosed. Some speculators think that the Grand Touring Concept will be equipped with the latest aftermarket parts offered through Autech Japan, a Nissan sub-brand with a focus on vehicle tuning, but full mechanical and performance specs have yet to be revealed.

With all of the rumors floating around, anticipation is certainly building. EV fanatics across the globe are excited to get a glimpse at the Leafâ€™s Grand Touring Concept, including our staff at Kirkland Nissan in Seattle, Washington.
