With 2017 drawing to a close, we’re starting to welcome new 2018 model year vehicles into our inventory, like the highly-anticipated Nissan Sentra. This compact sedan is a favorite amongst Seattle drivers, as it appeals to a wide range of tastes and budgets. And like you, we can’t wait to take it for a spin!Â
Â
For 2018, the Sentra will be offered in six trim levels: S, SV, SR, SL, SR Turbo and NISMO. All are available with Nissan’s Xtronic automatic transmission, but the S, SR Turbo and NISMO do come standard with six-speed manual transmission.
Â
As for pricing, the Sentra remains an affordable choice for new car shoppers. It starts at $16,900 MSRP for a base S and works its way up to $25,790 MSRP for the top-tier NISMO.
Â
Under the hood, the 2018 model comes with the choice of two engine options – a 1.8-liter four-cylinder on lower trims and a spirited 1.6-liter direct injection gasoline turbocharged engine on upper trims. All 2018 Sentras also include Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), except those with manual transmissions or a NISMO badge.Â
Â
New for this year, the S model is sporting some noticeable upgrades too, like a standard RearView Monitor and 5†color display with Streaming Audio via Bluetooth and Siri Eyes-Free. Higher trims also feature Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control and Intelligent Cruise Control.
