When it comes to infotainment, high-tech elements may be the deciding factor when you go to buy a sedan. Comparing the two top trim levels for the 2021 Dodge Charger and the 2021 Nissan Maxima, it is easy to see which car offers more bang for your buck.
Â
The Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye is far superior in terms of power with its 6.2-litre supercharged V8 engine. However, it also prevails over the Maxima in terms of entertainment. Equipped with the Uconnect 4C system, it uses an 8.4-inch touchscreen to operate the various functions. These include hands-free Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, and a complimentary one-year subscription to SiriusXM Guardian and satellite radio.
Â
On the other hand, the Maxima Platinum doesn’t get much of an upgrade in this category from the standard SV features. While the infotainment hub does include advanced smartphone integration and onboard internet, it is missing the larger monitor and remote services.
Â
Keep in mind that you can also upgrade the Charger’s stereo with a Harman Kardon sound system that is not available on the Maxima.
