When it comes to reinventing cars, no one does it better than Nissan. Teaming up with Italdesign in their first-ever collaboration, engineers are set to unveil the ultra-limited GTR-50 prototype. This unique creation is meant to commentate the 50th anniversaries for the Italian company and the GT-R itself. The exterior features distinct golden accent markings stretching over the width of the supercar. A more pronounced bulge can be observed on the hood, and the cabin boasts carbon fiber materials.
As spectacular as this grand coupe may be, the 2018 Nissan GT-R Track Edition is impressive in its own right. Holding the world record for the fastest street-legal car, this sleek speedster is powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine that produces 565 hp and 467 pound-feet of torque. Equipped with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, this bad boy was made for the races. Lightweight forged alloy wheels, a more aggressive suspension calibration, and a stiffer body structure all help to deliver a smoother ride.
