Since its first appearance in October of 2007, the Nissan Rogue has risen rapidly in the ranks as one of the most popular compact crossovers available on the market. Its versatility, practicality, and petite size make it a premium choice for small families, dog lovers, and people who enjoy travel.
The new 2019 Rogue is bringing two engine options to the table. For the conventional driver, the 2.5-liter DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder offers 170 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque. Equipped with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and FWD, it has a fuel economy set at 29 mpg combined (26 city/33 highway).
For those who prefer an eco-friendly vehicle, there is the Rogue Hybrid. This advanced model is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder coupled with a 30kw electric motor. It generates a surprising 176 hp and 144 lb-ft of torque. It also gets 34 mpg combined (33 city/35 highway). That’s on par with the average gas mileage in a traditional sedan.
