With its futuristic body style and sleek lines, itâ€™s easy to assume that the 2018 Nissan 370Z Touring is an all-new model. However, itâ€™s actually the result of over 50 years of automobile evolution.

First imported to the United States in 1961, the Datsun Fairlady 1200 Roadster was the sporty coupe that started it all. Over the next seven years, things began to change. By 1971, the Japanese car company had renamed this beauty the 240Z and equipped it with a bigger 2.4L 6-cylinder motor that pumped out a 156 hp.
