The name proves imposing - with Nissan dubbing its latest Frontier the Sentinel. Such a strong title, you think, will surely pair with an equally strong pick-up.
You would be correct.
According to Top Speed, the 2018 Frontier Sentinel has made its official debut - thrilling audiences at the Sao Paulo Motor Show. This hulking platform (which is intended to serve as a search and rescue vehicle) delivers bold all-terrain styling. A raised suspension creates a sport-ready effect, yielding an approach angle of 33-inches; while the 60-inch bed features a custom liner to defend against the elements. A winch anchors the front bumper, allowing for seamless towing; wrap-around LED lighting cuts through the dark; and a snorkel has been integrated into the A-Pillar, enabling drivers to quickly launch riverside expeditions. Custom storage drawers flank the sides, organizing ropes and harnesses with ease; and an auxiliary battery pack rests at the rear to provide extra power on long excursions.
To further ensure successful search operations, the Sentinel also features 16-inch all-season tires - allowing the truck to roll smoothly over any terrain.
The 2018 Frontier Sentinel will prove the ultimate rescue vehicle - and we hope that Nissan will bring this truck to the Kirkland backroads. To learn more contact us today!
