When Nissan announced the discontinuation of the Juke, Washington drivers wrung their hands in disbelief - not wanting to lose this quirky crossover, unwilling to admit a sales defeat. This was the ride of choice for trendy urbanites, and it seemed like such aâ€¦ waste to take it from the market.

Nissan seems to agree.

According to Jalopnik, a Juke revival may be planned. Nissan is currently working on developing a 2020 model for its UK line-up - one that will pair a robust turbocharged four-cylinder with a crisp six-speed manual gearbox. The chassis will be tweaked, with sculpted fenders delivering a sportier profile and color-blocking techniques used to emphasize the chiseled hood, angular roof, and sharp character lines. No official specs have yet been released but critics believe that this platform will push the performance boundaries, with more than 215 HP expected.

What does this mean for Federal Way? Jalopnik speculates that Nissan may bring the new Juke across the pond (if it proves popular in the UK). This would inject some much-needed style into the crossover market, and we have our fingers crossed for this rideâ€™s return.
