If you are looking for a high-tech and enriched driving experience, the future is almost here, Seattle, with the upcoming release of the Nissan Leaf e+ later this spring. According to the automaker, the e+ will boast an updated interface, larger display and convenient enhancements for even more pleasure behind the wheel.

Starting with the dash, the e+ will be anchored by a larger, thin-film transistor, full-color 8-inch display with swiping, scrolling and tapping commands. Drivers will also have the ability to update apps, maps and firmware in the car with a touch of a button versus having to make an in-dealership appointment. A new feature called Door-to-Door Navigation will also be available on the e+. It will let drivers sync the Leaf's navigation system with their smartphone for seamless directions. When passengers ride in the vehicle, the Connections feature will enable them to quickly and easily connect their devices as well. Lastly, a convenient graphic-based Human Machine Interface complements the NissanConnect smartphone app and allow users to monitor or schedule charging, find the nearest charging station or heat/cool their vehicle from the comfort of their home or office.Â
