Latest Nissan News For Seattle, Tacoma, And Bellevue Washington
Hard ground, damp quarters, tight spaces, curious sounds from outside the tent – camping isn’t for the faint of heart. However, Nissan is injecting a high dose of comfort for those wanting to experience the great outdoors by releasing a trio of camper van conversions on the NV200, e-NV200 and NV300.

The line-up was officially displayed at the Hannover Motor Show 2018 and will be sold to the European market. Nissan developed the camper vans in partnership with BRAM Technologies, which manufacture elevating roofs for the automotive sector.

According to Nissan, each vehicle features a spacious interior for up to four people to live and travel while enjoying a nomadic lifestyle. Inside the cabin of the vans are modern conveniences, including a cooker, refrigerator, sink with running water, and storage space.

Come nightfall, the interior can be converted into a comfortable bedroom. It boasts a high-density foam mattress for two, all-round window shades for privacy, and a heating/cooling system for comfort year round. The NV300, which is slightly larger, also features a second double bed in the raised ceiling, which is ideal for families in need of more space.

Living life on the road has never been more comfortable in a Nissan camper van. To learn more about this European offering or to inquire about converting a NV200 into a recreational vehicle of your own, contact our team in Seattle, Washington.
Are you a commercial operator in Seattle searching for your next fleet vehicle? If so, you’ll want to turn your attention to the Nissan NV200. For the fifth consecutive year in a row, this work van has driven off with a Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America Award in the Small Commercial Cargo Van segment.

This honor is given to fleet vehicles with the best fuel economy and lowest cost of ownership. To determine the winners, Vincentric performed an analysis measuring over 2,500 vehicle configurations based on typical fleet use. Using various cost factors, including depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs, each vehicle was evaluated across the country using 28 different lifecycle scenarios. Winners were identified by determining which vehicles had the lowest fleet costs in the most scenarios within its segment.

This victory cements what we have always known at Kirkland Nissan about the NV200 – not only is this compact cargo affordable to purchase and own, but it’s wildly versatile when used in any business capacity. From plumbers and electricians to florists and delivery services, every commercial operation can benefit from the NV200’s proficient 131 horsepower 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine, 1,480-pound payload capacity and easy-to-maneuver size.
