Unveiled at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show, the Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition has garnered great media attention for its rugged additions, but at a nice value-focused price. This is a solid package offering that SUV shoppers can add to their new Pathfinder SV or SL grade for just $955, which is an overall savings of $1,315.Â

Earlier we discussed the interior and exterior components of this offering, but today weâ€™re going to dive into the tech options that the Rock Creek Edition provides.

First off is the SV Rock Creek Edition Technology Package, which includes some must-have equipment to enhance your comfort and convenience behind the wheel. Anchoring the dash is a complete suite of assistive technologies to help you find your way while avoiding slowdowns, including NissanConnect with Navigation and Services, SiriusXM Traffic, and NissanConnect Services powered by SiriusXM. On those chilly PNW mornings, youâ€™ll appreciate the heated cloth front seats, steering wheel and outside rearview mirrors as well.

Next up is the SL Rock Creek Edition Premium Package, which adds superior sound to the cabin of the Pathfinder with a Bose 13-speaker premium audio system. A power panorama moonroof is also included for your enjoyment.

A new 2019 Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition is slated to hit Nissan dealerships later this spring. This special package combines unique exterior and interior upgrades that enhance the rugged SUVâ€™s heritage, while also providing greater value and cost-savings to vehicle shoppers.

Priced at $995, the Rock Creek Edition reflects a savings of up to $1,315 when purchasing the parts and accessories as a package on Pathfinder SV and SL grades. Geared for adventure-minded families, buyers can customize their SUV to suit their needs and tastes.

Starting on the exterior, the package includes dark 18-inch wheels with all-season tires, a black mesh grille and black roof rails. Black door handles are included as well, along with outside rearview mirrors, front and rear fascia accents and a license plate finisher. Dark molded over-fenders add a rugged appeal to the SUV, while unique badging on the front doors sets the Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition apart from other trims. This model is also equipped with a standard trailer tow hitch and harness forÂ a best-in-class towing capability of 6,000 lbs.

Inside the cabin, the refinement continues with two-toned seating surfaces and badging for even more style. Plus, there is high contrast stitching on the seats, doors, console lid and steering wheel, which are complemented by slick metallic interior trim.Â
