As a relatively new player in the truck market, the Nissan Titan is unlike any other pickup in its class, garnering attention from an entirely new demographic that is younger than the industry average by three to four years. It’s become a hit with Millennial and Generation X buyers who choose the Titan half-ton and Titan XD for its versatile cab configurations, five grades of trim and loads of standard features – all of which equate to a better, more powerful driving experience, no matter if it’s for work or play.
Â
With this shift towards a younger demographic, Nissan had to tweak their advertising strategy as well. They said farewell to traditional images of crushed rocks, stamped metal and beating chests, and opted for a much-needed dose of humor to attract Millennial and Generation X buyers in search of a new kind of truck. And it worked! Sales figures are up to 10 percentage points above the segment average for this cohort.Â

How’s that for some levity in an often too serious segment? We think it’s a great departure from conventional pickup ads.

If lazy horses are getting in the way of your work or fun, it might be time to test drive a new kind of truck. To learn more about the 2017 Titan or Titan XD, please call Kirkland Nissan today, or click here to check out our new and preowned truck inventory.
