When it comes to comfort level, no other pickup does it quite like the new 2022 Ram 1500. Compared to the 2022 Ford F-150, it offers more customization to suit whatever driving conditions are present at the moment. Available at O’Connor Chrysler, you can get your hands on one of these trucks today!
Â
The Ram 1500 can be equipped with the Active-Level Corner Air Suspension, which automatically (or manually) adjusts the ride height through five different settings. Normal is positioned at 221 mm, while Aero lowers the vehicle by 15 mm to improve the fuel efficiency by one percent at higher speeds. Next, Off-Road 1 raises the truck by 25 mm to enable you to clear obstacles easily. If you come up to a jagged rock formation, you also have the option to use Off-Road 2 (which lifts the Ram by 51 mm). Finally, Entry/Exit Mode sinks the chassis by 51 mm to allow passengers to get in and out without difficulty.
Â
On the other hand, the Ford F-150 has an independent front suspension that features a double-wishbone configuration, along with a coil-over-shock design and a stamped lower control arm. The rear unit is a leaf spring with a solid axle. It doesn’t have any customization to accommodate for various terrain and this can result in a less comfortable ride.

Featuring the Class-Exclusive Rambox Cargo Management System, the new 2022 Ram 1500 offers a superior bed configuration than its competitors - including the 2022 Ford F-150. Visit O'Connor Chrysler today to learn more.
Â
The Rambox Cargo Management System is a signature element for this segment-defining lineup. It adds a series of lockable compartments to the truck’s rear bed for more organized storage. These sections are lit with LED bulbs so that you can see what’s inside each one at night. They also can be washed out if you have to stash muddy boots inside, and the integrated drains allow the water to flow out easily. You can securely travel with tools and gear (such as fishing poles) without any issue. There is also a 115-volt power outlet to hook up other accessories while you are on the job site or off on a camping adventure.
Â
Meanwhile, the Ford F-150 does not have this option. It simply offers a conventional bed for its standard trims. You will have to add third-party pieces to the box if you want to customize it in any way.
