2019 nissan armada for sale in seattle tacoma kirkland kent washingtonFebruary has been a huge month for Nissan as the awards and accolades continue to roll in. At the Chicago Auto Show, trophies were handed out by Kelley Blue Book for their 5-Year Cost to Own Awards and the 2019 Nissan Armada drove off with a win in the full-size SUV segment!
 
According to KBB, the Five-Year Cost to Own Awards honor new vehicles and brands with the lowest projected ownership costs, based on data for new cars for the first half decade of ownership. It takes into consideration depreciation, expected fuel costs, finance and insurance fees, maintenance and repair costs, and state fees for all new models within that time period.
 
For 2019, the second-generation SUV is sporting new equipment, making it the most advanced Armada than ever before. Rear Door Alert is now standard to protect young children and pets from being forgotten in the back seat, while Intelligent Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking and Intelligent Forward Collision Warning provides enhanced safety. Powering the SUV is a strong 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine, delivering best-in-class 390 horsepower and a max tow rating of up to 8,500 lbs.
 
Also exclusive to the Armada is its Intelligent Rearview Mirror, which uses a high-resolution camera mounted on the backend of the vehicle to project a clear image onto an LCD monitor built into the rearview mirror. This driver assist feature was unveiled last year and has become a fast-favorite for Seattle drivers.

And now, for 2019, Nissan has given us even more reasons to love the Armada with the inclusion of additional standard safety features across all trims.
 
For 2019, the Armada now boasts Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking and Nissan’s revolutionary Rear Door Alert, which is a safety feature that ensures that parents don’t forget to unload children or pets from the back seat. Previously, Adaptive Cruise Control and Automatic Emergency Braking were only optional on the SL trim and standard on the Platinum and Platinum Reserve grades. Having these features as standard equipment across the board now provides consumers with greater value and peace of mind. 
 
Best of all, these inclusions don’t come at a premium. Instead, the 2019 Nissan Armada is priced only slightly higher than the 2018 model with trim levels seeing small increases between $500 to $840. 
 
Here is an overview of the 2019 MSRPs for rear-wheel variants by grade:
 
SV: $48,185
SL: $52,985
Platinum: $61,085
Platinum Reserve: $64,085
 
Four-wheel drive models will add $3,000 to the purchase price. Destination and handling charges are $1,395.

With the Armada Mountain Patrol, outdoor enthusiasts will benefit from impressive off-road capabilities, great on-road comfort and a suite of Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies, ready to tackle any adventure. Built on a stock 2018 Armada, this all-wheel drive SUV offers immense performance from its beefy 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine, which is rated at a best-in-class 390-horsepower and boasts a monstrous 8,500-lb towing capacity. Nissan is dubbing it the ultimate overlanding vehicle, complete with the necessary tech, camping comforts and tools for life in the wild.
